Our Mission

“To strengthen and enhance the readiness of the public health and the healthcare delivery system to save lives during emergencies that exceed the day-to-day capacity and capability of the public health and medical emergency response systems."

Our coalition creates preparedness and response plans that will assist in minimizing the impact of a disaster. These plans examine all four aspects of emergency management: Preparedness, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery.

By planning ahead, we can take actions to strengthen our region, making it more resilient during emergencies. In doing so, we hope to lessen the impact of any future disasters.
